Thousands expected at first Kent outing of National Apprenticeship Show

About 6,000 budding apprentices, parents and students will find out about career prospects at the National Apprenticeship Show over the next two days.

The exhibition, which is free to attend, takes place at the Kent Event Centre in Detling today and tomorrow.

It will offer a chance to meet employers, training providers and colleges.

Visitors can also try hands-on interactive experiences focused on different types of apprenticeships.

Endorsed by the Prime Minister, the show visits Kent for the first time this year, with 35 exhibitors to see.

The event is open from 9.30am to 3pm today, then 4pm to 6pm and from 9.30am to noon on Wednesday.
