England's eggs deemed salmonella-free

"Lion mark" eggs - which include almost all of the eggs produced in the UK, have now been declared safe 30 years after a salmonella scare. Pregnant women and young children had previously been advised not to eat raw, soft boiled or runny eggs but the Food Standards Agency now says they're virtually free of salmonella. We asked shoppes in Chatham whether the risk of infection puts them off runny eggs.
