Claire Pearson and her black Labrador Pal, who alerts her when her blood sugar level is low, have been nominated for an award at the 2018 National Diversity Awards. The pair were nominated for the Positive Role Model award at the annual event, which is held to honour those who have showed a commitment to helping others.
