Police accused of 'failing' family during investigation into cyclist's death

The wife of a cyclist who died after he was discovered seriously injured in a country lane has finally received a formal apology from chief constable Alan Pughsley, apologising for his officers’ actions.The Canterbury College lecturer Richard Jordan died in 2011 after he was found with horrific head injuries on a country lane in Old Wives Lees, near where he lived.
