Police have recovered two mopeds found abandoned in a park this afternoon.

Officers received reports that the scooters were dumped in Mote Park in Maidstone at around 1pm.

A black and grey bike was subsequently identified as stolen from Forest Hill in Tovil on Wednesday.

Enquiries are ongoing to locate the owner of the second moped, which is a blue bike.
