Dovile Ramutenaite, from Maidstone, died from alcohol and cocaine intoxication

A young mum was found dead on the sofa by her friend after an evening of drinking, an inquest heard.

Dovile Ramutenaite, who was originally from Lithuania but lived in Middle Row, Maidstone, was found unresponsive by her friend on the morning of February 3.

The 25-year-old retail assistant had been drinking alcohol and taking cocaine before she feel asleep and later died.

Miss Ramutenaite is believed to have worked at Cell Fix in Week Street after training to be a beauty therapist at Mid Kent College.

A post mortem was carried out and a preliminary cause of death was given as cocaine and alcohol intoxication.

Coroner Bina Patel opened an inquest into Miss Ramutenaite's death at the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone and adjourned it until April 10.
