Emergency Services attend derelict bungalow blaze in Hermitage Lane, Aylesford

Emergency services were called to a derelict bungalow last night after flames ripped through the building.

Two fire engines attended the Hermitage Lane address — which is next to land being developed into veterans' accommodation — just before midnight and spent three hours tackling the blaze.

Kent Police were also in attendance but have this morning confirmed they are not currently treating the fire as suspicious.
