Fire crews called to a caravan fire at te Warden Springs Caravan Park on Thorn Hill Road in Warden, Sheppey, say the flames spread to several other disused mobile homes.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene just after 1.30pm and crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze.

The flames were extinguished by 3.20pm, but firefighters returned after 6pm to ensure everything was still safe. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
