Fans to tour Empire of Light movie set at special screening near Margate

Film fans will be able to tour the set of a Hollywood movie shot on the Kent coast following a special screening.

The Carlton Cinema in Westgate-on-Sea will host the showing of Empire of Light - which stars Oscar-winners Olivia Colman and Colin Firth - this Sunday, a day before its official release date

Residents have speculated online that some of its cast may attend the showing.

The Sam Mendes-directed picture - also featuring Toby Jones and Micheal Ward - will contain scenes shot in and around Dreamland in Margate.

And after the screening, guests will be invited to look around parts of the attraction used during filming.

The event will take place at The Carlton Cinema at 11.30am.
