Lee’s Garden in Headcorn High Street, near Ashford, temporarily closes for kitchen refurbishments

A high street takeaway is set to reopen after being temporarily closed.

It will remain closed until February 27.

A message to customers on its phoneline says: "We are currently closed for kitchen renovations.

"We will be open again on Tuesday, February 27."

The site has been in Headcorn for more than 15 years, and received a five-star hygiene rating in September 2019.

It offers Catonese and Peking options such as ho fun noodles and chop suey dishes.

The takeaway’s normal opening hours are from 5pm until 10.30pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
