The 58-year-old was initially arrested in November last year and bailed pending further inquiries.

An investigation led to him being detained again on Sunday (January 14).

He was later charged with persistently making use of a public communication network to cause annoyance, inconvenience, and anxiety.

The charge relates to a total of 110 separate calls from the same phone number.

The offences reportedly took place between September 14, 2023 and January 15, 2024.

Weedon, of Horns Road, was also charged with possessing cannabis. He was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (January 16).
