Six men to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates' Court today charged with terror and fraud offences after being arrested at Dover

A group of men, some arrested at Dover, have been remanded in custody after being charged with terror and fraud offences.

The six appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today, after they were charged by the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command yesterday.

This follows their arrests on November 30 at the Port of Dover and on December 1 and 4 in London.

Michael Coe, 33, of Central Park Drive, London was charged with preparation and assisting others in preparation of acts of terrorism, support of a proscribed organisation, and conspiracy to possess false identity documents.

Simon Keeler, 43, of Solander Gardens, London, was charged with preparation and assisting others in preparation of acts of terrorism, support of a proscribed organisation, and conspiracy to possess false identity documents.

Anthony Small, 33, of Southend Lane, London, was charged with preparation and assisting others in preparation of acts of terrorism, support of a proscribed organisation, and conspiracy to possess false identity documents.

Zagum Perviaz, 35, of Frinton Road, London, was charged with conspiring to possess and produce false identity documents.

Hamzah Safdar, 24, of Cecil Road, London, was charged with conspiring to possess and produce false documents.

Abdulraouf Eshati, 28, of no fixed address was charged with possession of articles in connection to the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism and offences under the Immigration Act 1971.

All six have been remanded in custody and will appear in court again in January.
