Ashford Town climbed off the bottom of Ryman League Division 1 South after a 4-2 win against Corinthian Casuals on Saturday.

Lee Hockey, Mark Lovell (pictured), Ross Morley and Tom Murphy found the net for the Nuts and Bolts to secure their second successive win at the Homelands - an important statistic as they play seven of their next nine league games at home.

Second-bottom Town leap-frogged Eastbourne Town and now lie three points behind Whitstable and Walton Casuals, having played four games fewer than the Surrey side and one less than their Kent rivals.

Folkestone Invicta marched on at the top of Ryman League Division 1 South with another 1-0 win - this time against in-form Met Police.

New arrival Brendon Cass scored the only goal on 40 minutes as Invicta won their fifth away game in seven to stay a point clear of Croydon Atheltic, who have two games in hand over Neil Cugley's side.
