It specialises in selling baths, showers, toilets, wash hand basins and related accessories.

Administrators say despite significant investment in recent years, the business has struggled to overcome the wider challenges facing the retail sector.

A formal company notice said: "Ryan Grant and Antony David Nygate were appointed Joint Administrators of Bathstore.com Limited on 26 June, 2019.

"Please note that the affairs, business and property of the company are being managed by the joint administrators who act solely as agents of the company and without personal liability."

Those with queries should contact the Joint Administrators in writing at BDO LLP, 5 Temple Square, Temple Street, Liverpool, L2 5RH.
