Orange Five mountain bike with Reverb seat post and Nukeproof pedals taken from Ashford and ridden towards William Harvey Hospital

A distinctive bicycle worth £4,000 has been stolen from bike sheds in Willesborough Road, Ashford.

The Orange Five bike is a green, full suspension mountain bike with several modifications.

It has a Reverb seat post, gold coloured handlebars, disc brakes, Nukeproof pedals, a single chain-ring and purple bar ends.

The bike was stolen at about 2.45pm on Friday, May 8 and police believe the thief broke the lock on the bike and rode off towards the William Harvey Hospital.

Its frame number is either 1206085GNH or 12-43224YKX.
