Commuters face further disruption today as Southern train staff go on strike.
The train company has warned passengers not to travel due to the problems affecting services running from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Ashford.
RMT and Aslef members are walking out in an ongoing row over the removal of guards from trains.
A statement by Southern said: "There will be no Southern service on Friday, December 16 and you should not attempt to travel."
It is the latest in a long line of walk-outs that have caused misery for passengers in Kent and other parts of the southeast.
Further strikes are planned as RMT officials and Southern bosses seem unable to reach an agreement.
