Police and officials will step up safety patrols during the Guy Fawkes period this weekend.
They will crack down on under age children using fireworks, bangers being let off in the street and look out for dangerous bonfires.
The extra Community Safety Unit (CSU) patrols will include representatives from Ashford Police and Ashford Borough Council.
They will be out on the streets tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday), backed up by Police Commmunity Support Officers, Kent County Council wardens and Kent Fire and Rescue Service personnel.
David Lloyd, Ashford council CSU manager, said: “Before Halloween we patrolled Ashford town centre and surrounding housing estates, as well as the rural areas, and it brought results.
“Calls to the police regarding anti-social behaviour were lower than usual,
“Our advice this weekend is only attend organised bonfire and fireworks displays.”
