Meerkats in Christmas hats spotted on Orchard Heights roundabout, in Ashford

Meerkats in Christmas hats have been spotted on an Ashford roundabout.

The black figures dressed only in red festive hats have appeared on the roundabout by Orchard Heights.

Photographer Andy Clark said he believes the two silhouette statues appeared over the weekend.

It's not the first Ashford roundabout to be given a festive makeover.

The Drover's roundabout near John Lewis has been decorated for the last four years and has become somewhat of a tradition.

But Alex Whitewood, the man behind the Drover’s decorations, insist his team are not responsible for the new festive figures.
