Indie-folk and acoustic band Turin Brakes will be performing at Ashford’s St Mary’s Church tonight (Wedensday).

London duo Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian, better known as Turin Brakes, scored a string of chart hits in the 2000s, and have sold about a million records since they formed in 1999.

Joined by long-time band members Rob Allum and Eddie Myer, the group will be playing a full set of crowd-pleasers from the past decade of their career, as well as some new material, when they come to town.

The band will be supported by award-winning Scottish singer-songwriter Jo Hamilton and London musician Axel Jansson.

Doors open at St Mary’s Church at 7pm tonight (Wednesday), for a 7.30pm start.

Tickets, priced £21, are available from the Tourist Information Centre or Right Track music shop, or on the door. Concessions are available.
