A busy road was closed due to a crash.

At least four vehicles were thought to be involved in the collision near Ashford.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A251 Faversham Road near Challock.

The road was closed between Pested Lane and the Halfway House pub.

Police officers and paramedics were called to the crash, which is believed to have taken place at around 10am.

The road is now reported to have reopened.

Police and Ambulance services have been contacted for comment.
