A fourth man has been arrested after a teenager was allegedly stabbed to death in Ashford.

Police rushed to Brookfield Road shortly before 12.30pm on Saturday after a 19-year-old man was found with serious injuries.

The victim, named locally as Jaydon McFarlane, died at the scene.

A 19-year-old man from Ashford was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

Officers investigating the incident have also seized four knives, which they believe may be connected to the incident.

A 24-year-old man from the area who was arrested on Saturday has been released on police bail until Monday March 23.

Two 17-year-old boys, also from Ashford, remain in police custody having been arrested on Saturday.

Officers are continuing to appeal for people to come forward, who were in the area of Brookfield Road, near Clockhouse, shortly before or after 12.27pm on Saturday.

Motorists or cyclists are also asked to submit their dashcam footage.

As floral tributes continue to be laid at the scene, friends of Jaydon have taken to social media to pay tribute to the "funny, loving" teenager.

In a touching tribute, Maddy Magee said: "What a cruel world we live in.

"I am absolutely heartbroken, waking up to see such a funny, loving young boy you grew up with is just gone like that.

"Thoughts go out to your family. We are all lucky to have known you.

"You will never be forgotten and we will never stop speaking your name. Fly high Jay."
