A trio of lovable kittens are looking for a new home after their previous owner dumped them in a box near Singleton Lake in Ashford.

Volunteers at the RSPCA's cattery in Station Road, Ashford, were brought the moggies on Friday morning.

A member of the public had discovered the three kittens - believed to be about six weeks old - nestling inside a cardboard box.

Cattery manager Ian Jubb, 33, said: "We've had quite a few cats dumped recently, and some that have just been left behind when people have moved home.

"They're all crying out for a nice new home, and I would urge people to contact a rescue centre before buying a pet.

"If anyone can offer these three a place to live, or any of our other rescues, we'd love to hear from you."

The RSPCA cattery is open for viewings from 11am until 3pm every weekday apart from Wednesdays.
