A lamb has died after it was shot in the head with a rifle.
Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage at Godmersham Park, in Godmersham.
The attack happened some time between 6pm on Wednesday and 6am yesterday.
The owner called emergency services when he discovered the lamb.
No other animals were hurt.
A police spokesman said enquiries are ongoing.
