M20 delays near Hythe after six-vehicle crash

A stretch of the M20 was at a standstill this morning after a six-vehicle crash.

Monday morning commuters were stuck in a long queue on the coastbound side after the accident near the Junction 11 Hythe turn-off.

Police said they were called to the scene just before 7.30am but said the injuries involved were minor.

The M20 was otherwise clear on the first working day of the current bout of snow with lighter than normal amounts of traffic for the rush hour.
