Man arrested after alleged sex act at Ashford International Railway Station

A man has been arrested after allegedly performing a sex act at a railway station.

It comes after reports from members of the public saying a man was performing a sexual act.

A man has since been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency.

He was taken into custody but has since been bailed.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: “On Friday, August 18, shortly before 3pm, British Transport Police received a text to 61016.

“At 3.20pm, officers attended Ashford International station and arrested a 61-year-old man from Ashford.

“He has been bailed with conditions to not enter the railway.”
