Officers say the man, who was on foot, was struck by a lorry at about 7.45am.

Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two cars, a van and a tanker were involved in the incident, which happened not far from the bridge by Evegate Business Park in Smeeth.
