Ashford: Man treated in hospital following catapult attack

A man was left with facial injuries following a catapult attack.

The victim, who is in his 30s, had to be taken to hospital after a group of young people launched the attack with several of the weapons, causing injuries to his face and stomach.

He was walking along Hunter Road in Willesborough, Ashford, at around 6pm yesterday when he was assaulted.

One of the suspects, aged around 17, was described as white and slim with short blonde scruffy hair.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the attack.
