Specialized Stumpjumper bike stolen in Beaver Road, Ashford

A top-of-the range trail bike that retails for around £2,000 was stolen from a teenage boy.

The 14 year-old was riding the white Specialized Stumpjumper in Beaver Road, Ashford, when he was threatened by a man in his late teens or early 20s who took the bike off him.

Police are appealing for information following the theft of the trail bike, which took place between 4-6pm on Monday, April 9, but was reported on Friday, April 27.

Officers would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information on the bike's whereabouts.
