It happened at the junction with Steeds Lane and Magpie Hall Road, next to Ashford Cricket Club on Thursday, December 2.

Police have confirmed the victim remains in a serious condition in the London hospital.

In total, three people were taken to hospital but two have since been released.

Police arrested a 33-year-old man shortly after the incident and have released him under investigation.

The crash was one of three accidents to happen at the same junction in an eight-day period, speaking calls for a safety review by concerned residents.

But Kent County Council said the accidents were down to “driver behaviour” rather than the safety of the road.
