A 72-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car in New Romney.

Kent Police’s Serious Crash Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened on Monday (9) at 2.04pm on the A259, Dymchurch Road.

The driver of a Honda 600 CBR motorcycle, a local man, died at the scene.
The driver of a Vauxhall Astra Estate was not injured.

The road was closed until 9.46pm while SCIU investigated.
