A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after coming off their bike.

Ambulance crews were called to Beaver Road in Ashford just before 11am.

The male biker was assessed and treated at the scene by ambulance crews before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital.

The incident, which happened at the junction with Kingsnorth Road, sparked long delays in the area, with queues stretching back as far as Matalan.

Police attended the incident to control traffic.
