Port Lympne: Southbeats music festival set to draw in crowds

More than 12,000 music lovers are expected to enjoy Kent's biggest festival today.

Southbeats - hosted on land next to Port Lympne Reserve car park - will feature a variety of acts across multiple stages.

The one-day festival, which has been a sell-out in the past two years, is set to run throughout the afternoon and evening.

The line-up of DJs and drum and bass artists features more than 20 performers, including DJ EZ, Andy C and MK.

The site outside Port Lympne previously welcomed revellers going to the Zoo Project festival and Zoo8, which both drew in large crowds.

Gates for Southbeats opened at 12pm and will close at 11pm. Last entry is at 6pm.
