Owners Danielle and Dan Bullard named Café Grace after their daughter, and hope to open it for takeaways for the week beginning Monday, February 22.

Mrs Bullard, 30, said: “We feel we’re in a great location, as we have new flats, a hotel and the ‘Ashford Shard’ being built right next door, as well as people going to Ashford International.

“We’ve been interviewing potential employees, and will hopefully have about seven staff working in the bistro at any one time when we’re fully operational.”

It is the latest addition to a long line of new food and drink ventures launching in Ashford, including a takeaway American diner and a Mexican takeaway service.
