Vandals have struck again in Ashford.
Three large wooden planters under the car park ramp on the corner of Park Street and Edinburgh Road have been pushed over for the second time in a week.
The boxes were found on their side on Monday morning after pranksters turned them over in the night.
This morning the planters were on their side again.
The wooden tubs, which were placed on the wasteland by Ashford council’s Town Centre Action Team in December, are watched over by CCTV.
When they were installed signs were attached to the side of each container that said: “WARNING! This planter is fixed to the ground and monitored by CCTV. Do not attempt to move it.”
Ashford Borough Council spokesman Mark James said that after the first tipping on Monday, footage of the attack was passed to police.
He said: “They did manage to capture some footage of the person who overturned the planters on Sunday evening, so we will be reporting it to the police.”
Police say they will use the the video to try and identify the culprits.
A spate of vandalism has swept across Ashford in the last week.
A car was set alight next to Angels hairdressers, in New Rents, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Another car was abandoned after becoming stuck in mud while being driven around Kennington Recreation Ground on Saturday night.
And a group of teenagers were reportedly seen turning aerosol cans and lighters into flame-throwers in Park Mall car park, off Edinburgh Road, last Saturday.
