Police appeal for witnesses after woman hit by car in Tesco Ashford Crooksfoot car park in Willesborough

Police want witnesses to come forward after a woman was hit by a car in a supermarket car park.

The victim, aged in her 30s, was knocked down by a blue Renault Megane car outside the Tesco Crooksfoot car park, in Hythe Road, Ashford just before noon on Thursday.

She suffered head injuries and was taken to a London hospital, where she remains in a serious condition.

The male driver of the car - which ended up on its side in a bush - and his female passenger were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to call them on 01843 222289, quoting reference number 11-468.
