Police hunt tattooed robber

A tattooed thug is one of three people police are hunting after a daylight robbery.

The suspect is said to have a tribal tattoo on his neck and with his accomplices stole from a 21-year-old local man.

The victim was walking through the alleyway between Victoria Road and Victoria Park, Ashford, when he heard running footsteps behind him.

He turned to see three men who threatened him and demanded money.

After a brief argument the victim handed over a quantity of cash and the men ran off towards the town

It happened between 12.30 and 1pm on Tuesday, February 1 and the victim was unhurt.

The man with the tattoo is described as white, aged 18 to 19, 5ft 4in tall, medium build and unshaven.

He was wearing a navy blue tracksuit with the hood up and bright white trainers.

A second suspect is described as white, 6ft 4in tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a dark coat with a zip up hood and jeans.

The third is said to be white and wearing a dark tracksuit with the hood up and the cords pulled tight.
