Ashford roundabout work costing more than £100,000

Work to install maintenance vehicle strips on four roundabouts in Ashford is costing more than £100,000.

Kent County Council is installing the strips on roundabouts in Orchard Heights, New Street, Forestall Meadow near Park Farm Tesco and Charing Hill.

The work involves removing a central section of the roundabout to create a flat area on which maintenance vehicles can park to carry out work without disrupting traffic.
