"In the meantime we are asking residents to be vigilant, look out for anything suspicious and most of all ensure sheds and houses are locked and the alarms are on."

Police have issued advice following the incidents, including telling people to be vigilant and report any unusual people or vehicles loitering in your area, take note of any cold callers, lock up and making sure burglar alarms are switched on when out.
