One fire engine attended and crews used dry powder to extinguish the small blaze, which they say started accidentally.

Firefighters left just before 8am and passed the duty of care over to UK Power Networks.

Residents across Bybrook and Bockhanger reported power outages, some lasting an hour.

A spokesperson for UK Power Networks said: "Engineers from UK Power Networks worked quickly and safely to restore all supplies in stages by 8.02am.
