Gardening tools stolen from allotment shed in Wye, near Ashford

Gardening tools including spades, a rake, and a hoe were stolen from a shed in Wye.

The burglary took place at the allotments in Churchfield Way at some point between 11pm on Saturday, and 9am the following morning.

A lock and bolt to the shed were also damaged when the tools were taken.

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious, or who has dashcam or private CCTV in the area during that time.

Residents who use sheds are being reminded to keep them secure with a strong lock and to keep items out of sight.
