Two suspected burglars charged after Ashford properties in Croft Road and Belmore Park raided

Two suspected burglars who targeted properties in Ashford will appear in court.

Anthony Kingwell, 37, of no fixed address and Thomas Scorey, 34, also of no fixed address, have been charged with burglary following a break-in at a property in Croft Road.

During this incident on Monday, September 2, a handbag was reported stolen.

Mr Kingwell has also been charged with an attempted burglary at a property in Belmore Park, Ashford, on Saturday, August 31.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday and has been remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, October 7.

Mr Scorey has been released on bail and will first appear at Folkestone Magistrates' on Wednesday, October 9.
