Video: Talents on display at body-painting festival

Sorry, this video asset has been removed.

Art was laid bare at the weekend as painters from across the
country descended on Mersham for an arts festival with a
difference.

There was no canvas to be seen at the UK Body Painting Festival
with artists daubing paint straight on to bared bodies.

Last year the competition was held in the Farriers Arms, but the
pub is shut for refurbishment.

So the festival, run by the British Body-Painting Guild, took
place in Bridge House, Church Road, near the Farriers.

Dozens of artists and models took part in the two-day event.

The theme on day one of the festival was coast-to-coast, with
artists creating sea captain, pirate and Route 66 displays.

On the second day the theme, Back to School, was picked from a
hat with artists improvising their creations.
