A village home caught fire yesterday, requiring two fire engines and specialist equipment.
The building on Bournewood in Hamstreet, near Ashford, took just under 50 minutes for the fire team to put out.
Arriving at 4.41pm, they used a hose plus a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke coming from the house.
It was fully extinguished by 5.28pm.
