Shepway boxer Josh Kennedy is through to the final of the ABA Junior Championships after defeating Repton ABC’s George Langley on points at the Black Lion Leisure Centre on Sunday.

His 9-6 victory sets up a final bout against South Durham’s Jeff Saunders in Liverpool this weekend.

By reaching the final Kennedy has already gone one better than last year and he praised his coaches Gary and Mark for the work they had done with him.
