A body has been found in the search for an elderly man who went missing on Tuesday.

Bob Phipps, 85, from Crayford, was last seen at around 3.54am on October 24 in Galloway Drive heading in the direction of Station Road and Dartford Heath.

He was spotted on Ring doorbell footage wearing a light blue or grey coat and trousers

Yesterday evening at around 9pm, the body of a man was found in the Dartford Heath area.

A Met Police spokesman said Mr Phipps’ family have been updated with this development and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
