Fire crews were called to a blaze on the 10th floor of a residential block of flats.

Five engines and around 35 firefighters tackled the incident in Turpington Lane, Bromley.

Half of a four-roomed flat was damaged by flames and there were no reports of any injuries.

The emergency services were called at 10.02am today and the fire was under control by 10.43am.

Crews from Bromley, Orpington and Beckenham fire stations attended the scene.

The cause is under investigation.
