A major road has been shut following a serious crash.

Two cars are understood to have been involved in the collision on the A21 Sevenoaks Road.

The road is blocked in both directions between Old London Road and Hewitts Roundabout on the M25.

There is queuing traffic due to the serious incident and it is impacting motorists between Hewitts Roundabout (the M25 Spur) and Pratts Bottom.

It is understood to have happened shortly before 2pm.
