A man was taken to hospital with stab wounds following an incident opposite a primary school.
Police were spotted outside a row of terraced properties in Leesons Hill in St Paul’s Cray, near Orpington yesterday after blood was found.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 5.45am and a cordon was put in place between Chipperfield Way and the bus stop opposite Leesons Primary School.
Police have since issued an update on the incident.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers attended and a crime scene was put in place.
”We became aware that a man in his 30s attended a south London hospital with a stab injury – his condition is not life threatening.”
Officers believe he sustained his injury at the scene in Leesons Hill.
No arrests have been made and inquiries remain ongoing.
