Man arrested following suspected machete attack in Chatterton Road, Bromley

A man who was taken to hospital having been stabbed in the chest has been arrested.

Police were called just before 4pm on Monday (May 15) to a suspected machete attack in Chatterton Road, Bromley.

Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and taped off the road.

A man in his 20s was found with stab wounds to his chest and taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non-life threatening or life-changing.

He was later arrested on suspicion of affray.

Met Police say inquiries are ongoing.
