Police investigation arson at TikTok stars The Smithy family's home release new car images

New images of cars police need to track down as part of an arson investigation have been released.

Met Police and London Fire Brigade were called to a fire on on South Gipsy Road, Welling, at around 11pm on July 14 and had put out the flames about an hour-and-a-half later.

The home belongs to a family famous on TikTok, who claim they have been targeted in the attack.

The blaze is being treated as arson and officers are continuing their inquiries.

There were no injuries or arrests but inquiries continue.

Last week, it was revealed the owner of a blue Fiat Punto had come forward.

Now, police would like to speak to the owners of the two cars pictured.

Det Sgt Danny Banks, from the serious and complex investigations unit, said: "The victims in this incident are prominent on social media and have suffered a hugely distressing ordeal, not least because they have lost their home but have also since suffered baseless allegations on social media that they are responsible for this incident.

“I am happy to state that they are not and remain supportive of our investigation.”

Anyone with information regarding the car or the incident should call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 8350/14July.
